Kel Mitchell Wants Amanda Bynes for a Grown Up Ask Ashley in All That Reboot (Exclusive)

VITAL INFORMATION! ALL THAT IS COMING BACK TO NICKELODEON TONIGHT!

The legendary sketch comedy series returns to Nickelodeon in a new version later this evening and while it features a brand new cast, a few of the original cast members will be making appearances in the series premiere. Reprising some of their beloved roles and most memorable sketches, tonight’s episode includes Kel Mitchell as fast-food slacker “Ed” in “Good Burger” and Lori Beth Denberg as “Ms. Hushbaum,” the hypocritical “Loud Librarian.” To top it all off, the show will also include a performance of “Sucker” by the Jonas Brothers, who — according to Mitchell — would only do it if they were in the “Good Burger” sketch.

“The Jonas Brothers said ‘we’ll perform as long as we’re in a ‘Good Burger’ sketch,” Kel tells Celeb Secrets. “They did a good job. Nick came in and had all his lines down and he was like, ‘I’m ready bro.'”

With Kenan Thompson executive producing alongside Kel and Denberg and Josh Server on board, Us Weekly reported that Mitchell “hopes” to have Amanda Bynes join in on the action. When we caught up with the star at Slimefest in Chicago last week, he elaborated more on the potential casting, saying he’s been “talking to other cast members behind the scenes” and would love a “grown up version of ‘Ask Ashley’ on the show.” For those of you who don’t know, “Ask Ashley” was one of Bynes’ famous sketches from the original series.

“Amanda, let’s make this happen,” the 40-year-old actor says into our cameras. “She knows — it’s going to be crazy.”

All That returns tonight, June 15th @ 8:30PM ET/PT on Nickelodeon.
