Not content with dropping his new single today, Nick Jonas has just unveiled the video for ‘Close’, featuring Tove Lo.
Nick promised us a steamy affair, tweeting “This music video tomorrow is gonna require a few cold showers afterwards” and he did not disappoint.
The video is very contemporary and begins with Nick, before the focus is on Tove Lo. The pair get ‘close’ before being torn apart. Each time they get closer, they get torn apart and so does some of their clothing.
The pair end up in nude clothing, and the video becomes quite reminiscent of Sia’s ‘Elastic Heart’. Nick and Tove Lo continue to get painfully close in this video whilst moving around in a contemporary manner. Do they get together at the end? You’ll have to watch and find out!
The video is stunning yet seriously steamy and the chemistry between the pair is undeniable. The video fits the song perfectly and in an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Nick said that “I told Tove Lo…there’s about to be some babies made to this song.” We. Can’t. Cope. If there’s a baby boom by the end of the year, we’ll know who to blame.
